Well, I’ve been missing in action from my little blog for several weeks but with good reason.
I’ve been busy moving! Not a big, far-away move but an exciting one, none the less.
For nearly nine years, I’ve lived on the second floor of an apartment building with no elevator.
As I have aged, I’ve found that hauling my groceries up the stairs has become more and more difficult.
So about three years ago, I added my name to the waiting list for a main floor unit and now,
my name has crawled up to the top of that list and I have moved to a downstairs apartment.
Even better, the unit has been completely renovated: new flooring, new bathroom fixtures and brand new kitchen cabinets!
Best of all, I’m able to have a tiny, little garden beside my patio.
